(Maestro) Maestro Wind Speed and Direction by Maximum
Maestro displays wind speed, wind direction and highest gust
in MPH and km/h. Maestro 2S is similar to our standard
Maestro, but with expanded scale. A toggle switch at the
bottom of the case changes readings from 120 MPH to 40
MPH scale for a more dynamic display of wind speed. Wind
speed is self-powered by rooftop sensor. Wind direction is
displayed across 16 compass points using LED’s which run off
the supplied AC power pack. Highest gusts are saved on our
unique Gust Register, which allows you to monitor highest
gusts even if you missed the actual wind blast (on Maestro 2S,
use only with the 120 MPH scale). Cables, AC adapter,
sensors and mounting hardware supplied.

A digital instrument with a "brain" to record changes and trends as well as present wind conditions. Readings are given in four modes: ‘Present’ displays existing wind conditions. ‘Peak’ gives speed and direction of highest gust since last reset. ‘Average’ reveals average wind speed and direction since last reset. ‘Forecast’ compares most recent 12-minute average with previous 12 minutes. Can interface with Mystic to compute wind-chill. Memory is protected by a 15-hour backup to preserve stored data. Cable, AC adapter, sensors and mounting hardware supplied.

This wireless version of our popular Maestro instrument operates at a powerful 900mhz which allows for up to 300' transmission distance between sensor and read-out, in typical residential installations. When wind conditions change, Maestro receives updates every 2 seconds. The wireless rooftop transmitter operates on solar power and has a built-in rechargeable NiCad battery backup for up to 7 days of operation without sunlight.
